If the door itself is beyond saving, I supply traditionally styled hardwood front doors in Victorian, Edwardian and 1930s designs, designed and made to order.

I want new leaded glass
I design and make bespoke leaded glass double glazed units — for an existing door or a new one. Victorian, Edwardian and 1930s styles, or something unusual.

A paid advisory session — in person across the North West or remote anywhere in the UK — covering the full picture: the door, the draught-proofing, the glazing, the furniture, stripping and painting, and finding the right tradespeople if you need them. You leave with a clear plan and a sensible order to do things in.
Built on hundreds of real front doors
Over nearly two decades I fitted and restored hundreds of traditional timber front doors — Victorian, Edwardian, Georgian, 1930s. I don’t do fitting or restoration any more, but everything on this site comes from that experience. The draught-proofing kit was designed because off-the-shelf products don’t account for the way old frames move. The door range exists because period properties deserve period doors. The consultation service exists because most people with an old front door don’t know where to start — and the generic advice online is usually wrong.
